An Introduction to Bonna

After my first post, I missed a day of posting.  Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I spent the day cooking:  pecan pie, apple pie, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, creamed corn, and cranberry  salad.  All from scratch.  I’m actually pretty proud of that.  My brother cooked as well, ham and deep fried turkeys, 3 of them.  Our families came together, spouses, children, our mom, and other friends.  A good day, but an exhausting day, so I went to bed when I got home.

To introduce me, my name is Bonna; Anne is my middle name.  Yes, it is an odd name and I generally get “that’s an interesting name.”  Most people have never met another Bonna, and until about 3 years ago, neither had I, but is another story altogether.  I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida.  I am a die hard FSU Seminole and will stick with them always, in good and bad years.  I’m a wife and mother of 2 daughters.  I’m a musician with my principle instrument being French Horn, but I play Piano, Flute, Piccolo, Trumpet, and Clarinet with some level of decency.   Clearly, I like to cook and for my adult life, I have worked as a paralegal, nearly 30 years now.

I’m now looking to find a new way to make a living, something I can do from home.  I’m hoping to write.  Still not sure what my niche will become but I’m going to try.  I have been reading about how to become a copywriter.  I’m going to try my hand at that by first promoting my husband’s new wood working business that he is creating.  Since we are both new at these things, it seems like a good place to learn the trade as a copywriter and then turn it into a real profession.
